The Swiss association for international cooperation, Helvetas, and the research institute of organic agriculture, FiBL, organized a symposium on organic cotton production and trade promotion.
The main objective of the symposium was to present the lessons learnt within the success story of various Swiss organic cotton projects to a national and international audience interested in the topic. Furthermore, it has been an excellent opportunity to exchange and discuss insights gained while setting up and managing an integrated value chain, in particular the experiences made with the multi stakeholder approach.
